Taxi&Limousine Commission
Visual Identity
New York

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC), created in 1971, is the agency responsible for licensing and regulating the New York City’s iconic yellow taxi and other related vehicles.

The proposal is to create a unique language, a geometric abstaction from the own language afforded by the driver’s habitat: streets of New York. Symbols based on zebra crossings, signs, crossroads, etc. which when together create a modular structure suitable for every application.
